Emotional Support Animal Assessment
Emotional Support Animal (ESA) forensic assessment. If you meet criteria for a mental health diagnosis based on the DSM-5tr criteria and you have an animal that helps you cope with symptoms from that diagnosis, then you may qualify. The assessment consists of an evaluation of your diagnosis, the animals effect on the symptoms, and education about ESAs. If appropriate, then an ESA letter of recommendation will be provided.
